FAQs

Do I need to arrange to pay the locum?

No, we will manage this for you, you will only receive invoices from Pet Medic Recruitment which will include the candidate and the agencies fee.

Do I need to provide accommodation for the locum?

Whilst not essential it does enable a wider pool of candidates to be put forward for your vacancy and can greatly assist with more challenging geographical locations.

Will the locum have their own insurance?

Under the RCVS code of practice all vets should have their own liability insurance, however we’ve found this is not always the case or does not cover them to the level that you would require. Therefore for peace of mind we advise the practice to insure the locum under the practice policy for the period of the booking.

How are the agency fees structured?

Our fees are set at fixed rates for both locum and permanent placements so you know exactly how much it will cost before any placements are made. Feedback from our clients has been that they prefer it that way as there are no hidden surprises.

What are your payment terms?

All invoices are payable within 14 days of receipt. VAT is payable on all fees charged

What if I’m not happy with the candidate provided?

We hope that you will not need to use this, however in the event that you are not satisfied with the level of service you have received from us we would like you to tell us about it, please contact us at the following: info@petmedicrecruitment.com
